Until 1996, I wrote fiction, exclusively. I wrote short stories from 1989 through 1993 while in the night program at San Francisco State. Bombardiers was a major breakthrough for me. It began as a short story and quickly became a novel that was published in 1995. I continue to pen short stories, but only occasionally. I have written maybe 20 stories, but I include only 3 here because these are the only three I have in digital form.
