Places I Go

My work takes me to some interesting places. I'm usually there not for the place, but for a person - but a person with a deep connection to that place. In showing me their life, they are better guides to that place than I could ever hire. Some of the places I go are notably alluring - others are so out of the way and quiet that I'd never consider going there on my own. When I made the jump from writing fiction to writing non-fiction, I opened the door to the entire world. The following list is a small fraction of the places my reporting has taken me.
