Why these
cities and not others?
We have had great events in so many cities the last few years. Never fewer than a
hundred readers in the audience, and often up to four hundred. I, and my publisher, are
extremely grateful that you all come out to hear me talk. My publisher definitely wants to
make sure I see some cities this time that I have not been to before. So cities like
Nashville, (where I've spoken, but not at a bookstore), and Atlanta, (again I've done a
library event but not a bookstore event), and Bellingham, and San Diego - they are all on
the list this season, while other cities where I've had great events (Boston, Miami, DC,
Houston) are not on the list - at least yet. Want to lobby my publisher? By all means,
please do. For the paperback tour, I will probably go back to other cities I've loved
visiting before - Vancouver, Kansas City, Miami, Boston, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Detroit,
et cetera.
