Movie Version of
"The First 20 Million Is Always the Hardest"

Adam Garcia (Coyote Ugly), Jake Busey
(Starship Troopers), Rosario Dawson (Down to You), and Enrico Colantoni
(Galaxy Quest) star in this film based on my second novel.
Here's the crew of the movie and some of
the stars at the GG Bridge for an exterior shot.

I got a cameo in which I played a drunk

An old news story:

NEW YORK (Variety) - Fox has given the
green light to the black comedy ``The First 20 Million Is Always the
Hardest,'' with Adam Garcia starring and Mick Jackson directing.
Garcia, the male lead in ``Coyote Ugly,''
just finished a lead role alongside Drew Barrymore in the Penny
Marshall-directed ``Riding in Cars With Boys.''
The Fox film was adapted from the Po
Bronson book by Jon Favreau. Set in Silicon Valley, it traces the roots of
money and power in the computer industry.
Four misfit inventors think they've
designed the computer of the future, only to find their design stolen by
another inventor, who has the advantage of being well known. Garcia will
play a marketing wiz. Shooting starts March 10.
Australian native Garcia has been ascending
rapidly in Hollywood since playing the lead role in the West End run of
''Saturday Night Fever.'' Jackson recently directed ABC's acclaimed
adaptation ``Tuesdays With Morrie.''
